Dragon city chapter 2

a new arrival

As the winds calmed down back to a gentle breeze the residents started leaving buildings and started cleaning up the mess that the tornado had caused, were beginning to fix up the buildings that were broken and helping others get out from under the rubble, the princess put the hood on her cloak back up over her head and headed over to the gates in the east wall to see if there was any ship wreckage on the beach  since the stormy winds had come in from the sea. As the princess shut the gate behind her she gasped at seeing all the wreckage from the a wooden boat, bits and pieces were all over the east beach, as she walked closer she tripped over  half a steering weal that was stuck in the sand and when she fell she spotted a copper tail with a teal underside sticking out from a huge bit of wood and half of the ship's mast was on top of it as well, someone or something was trapped under that not pf ship wreckage.

Once the princess had got up she ran straight to were se saw the tail and when she got there she grabbed the mast and started pulling it off of the big piece of ship wreck and once she got the mast off she lied it down on the sand so she could push the wood off of who ever was stuck under it, after she accomplished that, she noticed that the long tail belonged to a copper and teal coloured anthro dragon lying unconscious were he had been stuck, the princess felt sorry for the poor thing so she lifted him up onto her back and carrier him back to the kingdom.

It had been a couple of hours since the princess found the unconscious dragon on the beach and took him to the infirmary were two doctors took care of him till her woke up became conscious again, people normally think the princess's are spiteful and self loving but this princess was different, she cared for others, she didn't love herself or hate everyone else she cared for them like they were her own family. As the princess walked into the infirmary one of the nurses that worked there ran over to her and started pulling the princess to the room were the dragon was, the nurse was saying what ever it was way too fast, the nurse had stopped outside of recovery room 10 and opened the door for the princess who walked into the room and saw that the dragon was awake and arguing with the doctor yelling all sorts of words at him and to get some information about were he is.

“your safe so please will you stop yelling. I brought you here, I found you unconscious on the east beach” the princess had spoke with such a gentle voice that even a baby would stop crying
“who are you exactly?” the male dragon had asked, his voice was a bit rough but he had been unconscious for quiet a while
“i am princess Jessica, of dragon city. You're in the infirmary since I thought doctor drake here might be able to help you recover”  the princess smiled a gentle smile that would make even the saddest person smile
“so you're the reason I'm in this room?” the male asked
“indeed I am, may I ask who you are now that your conscious?”the princess asked kindly and softly since the male had not long awoke
“my name is Thunder, Thunder Shocktrix” the male was sounding a lot better with every passing minute

the princess smiled again and nodded to the doctor and she started to leave the room to let Thunder get his well needed rest. On the way back to the castle the princess's ears twitched when she heard crying which made her stop in her tracks and look around, she stopped and walked over to a tree and looked up seeing a child had climbed up to get its kite back but got stuck and can't get down from the tree, the princess decided to help the child so she began climbing the tree to get the child and its kite out of the tree.

After a few minutes the child was out the tree and so was its kite, the princess just hurried the child back to its parents who were worried sick about there son. People that live here always help one another, they treat everyone else like family instead of friends, they are always in a good mood, even those that have the blue are cheered up one way or another.
